Why did my Soudfa sign up fail?
Usually sign-up doesn’t complete because of something small in the details 🙃 The most common causes:
- A typo in your email
- An email already linked to an account,
- You must be 18+
Check the on-screen guidance at each step — and if it keeps happening, send us a screenshot and a short description and we’ll help.
Why is my account under review?
We review every new profile by hand to keep Soudfa safe and its members genuine 🤩 It usually takes just a few hours — once approved, your profile goes live and you can start. Thanks for your patience; this review is what makes Soudfa different.
Can I have more than one account on Soudfa?
One person = one account on Soudfa ⚖️ More than one account isn't allowed — this keeps members genuine and your experience safe.

What can I do if I forgot my Apple ID, Google or Facebook password?
We can't recover your Apple, Google or Facebook password — those are managed by them. Update it there, then log in to Soudfa using the method your account is linked to.
What can I do if I didn’t receive the password reset email?
The reset link can take a few minutes ⏱️ If it doesn't arrive, make sure you entered the right email and check your spam folder.
What can I do if I didn’t receive the confirmation email?
Didn't get the confirmation email? It's often in your spam folder 🕸️ If it's not there, message us and we'll help.
What can I do if I can’t enter my Soudfa account?
Login issues are usually a typo in the email or password 🙃 If you signed up with Apple, Google or Facebook, log in with that same method rather than email/password. Double-check your details — and if it continues, send us a screenshot and a short description.
Why am I told “No account associated to this email”?
The 'email not registered' message has three causes:
1) You don't have an account yet — create one at soudfa.com or in the app
2) A typo in your email
3) Your account is linked another way (Apple/Google/Facebook).
Check and try again.
Why is my account banned?
We work hard to keep the experience serious and safe, and any breach of Soudfa's terms leads to an immediate ban. To learn more, see the Terms of Use under 'Support' — and if you have a question, message us.
Will I lose access to my Soudfa account if I deactivate my Apple ID-, Google- or Facebook account?
Don't worry 😊 Deactivating your Apple, Google or Facebook won't lock you out of Soudfa. Go to Log in > 'Forgot password', enter the email linked to Soudfa, and reset your password to get back in.
How do I log out?
You can log out from your profile page — just tap ‘Log out’ 👍🏼
Account
Can I change my gender on Soudfa?
For safety and authenticity, gender can’t be changed after the account is created 🤗 But you can create a new account with the correct gender, and we’ll delete the current one. We’re here if you have any questions 💫
How do I change my password?
Want a new password?
Go to 'Password' in Settings and change it 🔒 For ideas on a strong one, see 'How do I create a strong password?' in the FAQ.
How do I change my email?
You can change the email linked to your account easily: go to 'Email' in Settings and follow the steps ✅
Why did I receive an email confirming my email?
If you didn’t get the confirmation email, check your spam folder, make sure your email is correct under Settings > ‘Email’, then resend the confirmation.
How do I change my notifications settings?
Manage your notifications under 'Notifications' in Settings 📳 If you previously declined them on your device, enable them there first.
How do I turn off notifications?
You can turn Soudfa notifications off from your phone’s settings 📵 Open Settings > Soudfa > Notifications and switch off the ones you don’t want. You can turn them back on there anytime.
How do I link my account to Apple, Google or Facebook?
You can link your Soudfa account to Apple, Google or Facebook easily: Profile > Settings > ‘Links’ > ‘Link’, then follow the on-screen instructions. Done 💫
How do I change the Apple, Google or Facebook account linked to Soudfa?
Linked the wrong account? It happens 😉 Fix it: Profile > Settings > ‘Links’ > ‘Unlink’, then tap ‘Link’ again and follow the steps.
How do I change language on Soudfa?
To change language on the web: open soudfa.com, scroll to the bottom, and pick your language.
In the app, change the language from your device settings 📱
How do I delete my account?
In Settings you can either pause or delete your account:
- Pausing hides your profile and data temporarily — log back in to return.
- Deleting removes all your data permanently within 48 hours and can't be undone.
Note that deleting the app alone doesn’t delete your account.

What does Soudfa use my location for?
We use your location to show you suitable members near you 📍 In the same way, others can find you within their search when your location is on.
How do I enable my location?
You can enable your location under 'Settings' on your profile page ⚙️ Once it's on, we'll show you members based on where you are.
How do I enable my location after denying access?
If you previously denied Soudfa access to your location, grant it from your device or browser settings. The steps vary by device — message us if you need the right guide for yours 👍🏼
Why should I update my location?
We may ask you to update your location if: the location connection was lost, you logged in from a new device/browser, or location services were turned off. Updating keeps the members we show you within your preferred range 📍
Can I meet singles without enabling my location?
If you don't enable location, we'll use your city or country to show members 🌆 But you may miss suitable people nearby if you travel outside your city.

How do I edit my profile information?
You can update your profile anytime under 'Edit Profile' ✍️ The more complete it is, the easier it is to find the right match.
How do I change my name?
To change your name, go to ‘Edit Profile’ ✍🏻 Note you can change it once a month, and changes go through a quick review.
How do I change my profile text?
To update your bio, go to 'Edit Profile' and describe yourself and who you're looking for in a few words ✍🏻 Keep it positive and warm to attract more interest.
Why can’t I change my profile text or name?
If you can't change your name or bio, it's likely because you changed it in the past month — these can only be changed once a month 📆 We review every change to keep Soudfa's quality high.
What does it mean that my changes are under review?
When your changes are 'under review', we're simply checking they meet our terms, to keep Soudfa's quality high 🏆 Usually within a few hours. Thanks for your patience.
Why are my changes not approved?
Soudfa is a high-quality marriage platform 🏆 So changes that don't meet our terms aren't approved. If you have a question about a specific change, message us.
Photos
How do I add photos to my Soudfa profile?
Photos are your secret weapon for a great first impression 🤩 Add as many as you like from 'Edit Profile'. Tip: clear, smiling photos attract more interest.
How do I delete my photos?
Want to refresh your look? You can delete any photo you no longer want to show from 'Edit Profile' 🗑️
Why are my photos being reviewed?
It matters to us that the people you meet are genuine ❤️ So we review photos to make sure they meet our guidelines and keep Soudfa's quality high 🏆 Usually within a few hours.
Why are my photos not visible on my profile?
Soudfa is a high quality marriage platform 🏆
That's why photos will be rejected if they don’t live up to our guidelines on Soudfa 📝

Why did my photo upload fail?
If the upload of your photos failed, check the following 🔧:
- Make sure the photo size doesn’t exceed 2 Mb

Why can’t Soudfa access my photos or camera?
This is usually a permissions issue 🔧 Try these steps:
- Grant access: open your phone’s Settings > Soudfa > Permissions and turn on Photos/Storage (and Camera).
- Make sure the Soudfa app is updated to the latest version.
- If it still won’t work, uninstall and reinstall Soudfa, then try again.

Contacting members
How do I contact other members?
To start a conversation, simply visit a profile and click on the message icon 💬
Where do I find the sent messages?
Under Chats you’ll find the overview of your messages, likes and matches 💌
If you’ve sent a message, the conversation is not visible until you receive a reply 👍🏼 The same applies when you send likes, which can only be seen when the like is reciprocated and turns into a match 💞
In your Chat request queue, all the messages you havn’t yet opened are gathered 💌 In your Match queue you see those who’ve sent you a like and are now waiting to match with you 😍
How do I delete messages and requests from my chat list?
If you want to remove a match from your chats, you can do so under the settings in the message. When you press Remove match, the message will also be deleted 🚯
If, on the other hand, you want to remove a like or a chat request, simply swipe to reject. When you do this, the profile will be deleted from your list 🙅🏻♂️
How can I see if my message has been received?
When you open your conversation, you can check the status of whether your message has been received and read:
- An icon with a filled tick means the message was received but not read ☑️
- An icon with the member's profile picture means they read the message 💁🏻
- And an empty tick means the message hasn’t been received yet ✔️
If you’re waiting on an answer, you can always kill time by swiping for new matches 😍💫
Can I cancel a sent message before the receiver opens it?
You can’t cancel or delete a sent message. Every message sent reaches the member instantly 📨
Why did I lose a message?
If you’ve lost a message from your list, it could be due to one of the following reasons:
1. You or your match has chosen to remove the match
2. The person you chatted with either closed or disabled their profile.
In either case, all conversations are permanently removed 🗑️
However, that shouldn’t hold you back in the pursuit of dating. You can quickly start something beautiful again, by swiping for other singles on Soudfa 💖
Can I undo a match or a like?
If you immediately undo a like while swiping, you can take it back by tapping the undo icon ↩️
If you later regret a match, you can remove the match again, so you do not meet them at Soudfa anymore 🚫
Can I contact a member of the same gender?
You can only communicate with members of the opposite gender on Soudfa 👩❤️👨
How can I be notified about new likes or messages?
Under your Settings you can activate the notifications you want to receive when there’s activity on your profile ✨😍
That way, you decide for yourself when you want to stay up to date, when your dating life is glowing 💖
How do I get more matches?
Soudfa provides you with the tools to land the dream match ❤️ But we also offer an extra push in the right direction:
By boosting your profile, you’ll be pushed to the front of the line and allow more singles to meet you, as the first pick when looking for a good match 🤩🔍 You’ll get the best results if you take advantage of the extra attention and swipe away while you’re boosted 🏆
Last but not least, we can’t stress enough how much impact your photos have on other singles. It's 10x easier to fall for you if you show your sweet smile 😍 So, remember to fill out your profile.
How do I block someone?
You can block a member if you want to prevent contact or don’t want them to be able to see you on Soudfa. This, you do on the icon in the right corner, of the profile you want to block ⛔
Under Settings you will find your block list, where you have an overview of the people you’ve blocked. This is also where you can unblock again 📃
We encourage you to report suspicious users or behaviour to us 🤨
How do I appear offline?
You can’t hide on Soudfa and appear offline 👻 In other words, members can always see that you’re online if you’re using Soudfa 😊
How can I see a member’s last logged in?
You can see a member’s last log in on their profile. There’s an approximate time frame indicating the last time, the member was online ⏰
How do I get better at finding love online?

How do I appear as an ideal match to others?
My ideal match works both ways 🔄 This means it’s also used when other singles are looking for what they prefer together with you 😍
So, it’s essential that you fill out your own profile in order for you to appear as an ideal match for others 👩❤️👨 If you haven’t already done so, you can it under Edit profile - preferably up to 100% ✔️
How do I meet members from a specific area?
Under My ideal match, you can edit the number of km you want to meet singles from, based on either your own location or the city you choose. Once you’ve selected the number of km, our matching algorithm learns your preference and shows you more singles from there.
If you want to narrow down the search on singles in a specific area, you can sort the selection under Spot, based on members nearby.
To use this feature, you must have location on your device settings enabled and allow Soudfa access 👍🏼
Report members
How do I report someone?
Should you encounter a member who doesn’t live up to the rules of good behaviour at Soudfa, you can easily report the case to us 📢
Simply go to the profile of the member you want to report ⛔ Click on the settings feature in the upper right corner and describe the reason for reporting.
We’ll review the information and take the necessary measures 🚧

If you encounter a Soudfa account using your photo or personal information, you need to report the case. This you do by clicking the settings button of the profile and describing the reason for reporting.
